This week at Studio L3 our Compendium of Curiosities challenge is Multi Medium Collage on page 66.
For the second time, I have chosen to do something for myself .... my living room to be exact.
Yes, they are the same art piece but the lighting was sort of weird in different areas so I decided to post both.
Supplies:
Upcycled piece of cardboard with a slick surface
2"x3" mini canvas
Grungeboard B
Chipboard - Arrows, tag
Copper brad
Decopatch paper
Old dictionary pages
Old Math book page
Smooch Spray Ink - Limolicious
Tim Holtz Timeworks mask
Distress Stamp pads - Pumice stone, Rusty Hinge, Crushed Olive
Solid stamp pads - brown, black
Micron Pen - sepia
Clear embossing powder
Hi Marnie..If I may revert to my teen years for a moment..This is SO cool! Seriously. I really like all the great shapes you used.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! You nailed the collage part of the challenge so many interesting shapes.
ReplyDeleteI love the elements-great collage!!
ReplyDeleteMarnie, I'd love to hang this in MY living room! What a gorgeous work of art you've created. The Multi-Medium Technique is perfect for this piece, and wow, did you ever compose a gorgeous background! All the elements really work together, and using the "latitude" dictionary entry for the horizontal arrow is so clever! Well done! ♥
