CCC #31 - Rusted Enamel Technique

Compendium of Curiosities Challenge #31 (pg. 41)
This is actually the 2nd time I have used Tim's Rusty Enamel technique and I love the way it looks.

For Studio L3's challenge I used the rusted enamel technique for the backgrounds of a tag (first photo) and an ATC (2nd photo). The first one is my favorite because you can really see the effect. The second one I did on a piece of cardboard and ultimately it was too dark to really show off the technique. My advice for this technique is to start out with a light background, use a bright color to cover the piece and a very dark brown for the rusting part.

This photo is of a Grunge Book I made last year. It was the first technique I tried from Tim's book and I instantly loved it!

CCC #30 - Altered Metal with Paint

Here she is folks! My altered metal pieces are the corners, the suitcase, the key, and hotel tag. (Sorry for the terrible camera angle. There was so much glare from the metal and the slick postcard)
